Goal: capture all opponent pieces, or leave them with no legal moves. Timers can also decide games.
Movement
- Straight: moves 1 square forward OR 1 square sideways.
- Diagonal: moves 1 square forward-diagonal.
- Queen: moves like a stronger piece (forward in 3 directions + sideways).
- King: moves 1 square in any direction.
Captures
- Jump over an adjacent enemy piece into an empty square beyond it to capture.
- After a capture, you immediately get another move (chain captures are possible).
Fusion (make Queens)
- You may also jump over your own piece into an empty square.
- If the jumped piece is not upgraded, it becomes a Queen.
Promotion (make Kings)
- Any piece that reaches the far side of the board is promoted to a King.
Timer replenishment
- If your timer hits 0, you can spend captured pieces for extra time:
- Straight / Diagonal = +1s, Queen = +2s, King = +3s
Tip: the starting positions are randomized each game, but each player always starts with 8 Straights and 8 Diagonals.
